FAQ

Absolutely. You’re always welcome to bring along a friend, hype person, guardian, all are welcome.

Q. Can I bring a friend along to our session?

Q. What is your style of photography?

I play around with many styles, and usually choose what I think is best for a particular character. I like Low Key a lot, but I try to limit it to horror or night shoots.

Q. Do you edit your photos?

Editing is what got me into photography! For the most part I do color correction and balance, and touch up any blemishes along with some minor makeup fixes if I spot them. I try to keep things natural but if you’d like, I can do more, so feel free to let me know if you’d like something extra done, just be aware some request may be a bit time consuming and will delay your final images.

Q. Can I sell prints from our shoot?

Yes! Images come with a print release, you may print them for yourself, or for sales like Patreon, Kofi, etc. Prints are limited to 500,000. This is an actual number I have to use because I buy stocks for some of my images.

As far as cosplay goes, I started doing hall shots as part of coverage for a website I used to write for, after a couple of years I decided I liked doing photo shoots rather than event coverage, so I switched over and started taking photography more seriously. That was about 3 years ago now. I studied Graphic Arts in 2006 and that’s when I learned to use a camera.

Q. How long have you been shooting?

Q. How come you don’t post pictures from your shoots often?

I honestly just forget to. This is part of the reason I started this site, this way I can post everything. I can make a gallery here and share everything at once. I honestly forget to even eat sometimes, people yell at me for that.

In all honesty, I’d prefer if you didn’t. I wont be mad or blacklist you if you do, but if there is something specific you’d like feel free to communicate that with me. I’m always up for suggestions, ideas, additional edits you might want. If you fear it might take a too long for me to do, then feel free to edit, but please note any additional edits in your comments.

Q. Can I edit the photos I get back?

First off, I’m sorry you don’t like your pics, because my main goals when we shoot are that you enjoy the experience and like the end result. That being said, let me know! I’d love to work something out, whether it be a re shoot, re edit, refund, etc. I also wouldn’t want to post something 6 months later when I finally remember to post, and it be something you don’t like.

Q. I didn’t like my pictures, what now?

Once we set up a time, I start looking up references for your character or characters if I don’t know them. This way we can maximize what we shoot during our time. You’re also welcome, and encouraged, to let me know of anything specific you may want from the shoot. Sometimes if references (drawings or personality info) are scarce, I may come back and ask you about the character, why you like them, why you chose to cosplay them, etc.

Q. How do you prepare for a shoot?

Know what you want from the shoot and communicate it with me. Whether you just want “cool” pictures, recreate scenes, or get creative with the shoot in general. If you want to you can also practice faces and expressions in the mirror.

Q. How can I prepare for a shoot?

I do have a list of characters I’d like to shoot, but that doesn’t mean I wont work with you if your character isn’t on there. I encourage you to look through my previous works to see if my shoots are the style you would like for your pictures. I actually encourage you do that whenever you book anyone.

Q. Do you have a preference of what characters you shoot?

Normal edit times for me are 2-3 weeks, depending on what needs to be edited. I’m working on cutting my turnaround time down, but sometimes I get lost in my editing, and lose track.

Q. How long does it take to get my pictures back?

I like Horror and Action. A bit more ambitious, something that I can get go crazy with effects, though that would take more time to shoot, and prepare for. Some other things I like to photograph are flowy dresses/clothing, and parasols.

Q. Is there something specific you prefer to shoot?
